A Father’s Love: Day 1

October 5, 2020October 4, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

"Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." Psalm 27:10 When your mother or father forsake you: That is, when they either die, or are at a distance from you, or are unable to help you in the time of need. Or are unkind to you, or unmindful of… Continue reading A Father’s Love: Day 1

How is your heart?

October 2, 2020October 1, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

Scriptures for meditation: Matthew 15:11, Proverbs 4:23-27  How's your heart?  What's happening in its secret places? Are you tending to it? Are you watching over it? Our tendency is to watch over our attitudes, but not so much the heart. How does one watch over their heart? "Out of the heart springs the issues of … Continue reading How is your heart?

Let Great Faith Arise…

October 1, 2020September 30, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us" Hebrews… Continue reading Let Great Faith Arise…

The Lord Chastens Those He Loves

September 30, 2020September 29, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

"For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12:6 The fact that God disciplines those he loves seems to go against what we want as human beings.  Why on Earth would we want to be punished by God and how can God love us if He wants to… Continue reading The Lord Chastens Those He Loves

✨My 2025 RECAP✨ Slide 1 JAN - 2025 started out s ✨My 2025 RECAP✨

Slide 1 JAN - 2025 started out so uncertain and uncomfortable for me spiritually. Though optimistic about some big goals I had set, I couldn’t help but sense a shift. The atmosphere was different and there were subtle signs to justify the hunch too.

Slide 2-3 FEB - Had a cheeky Valentine’s Day (Night) away from the kid 🫢 and rekindled my love for books/reading. Wahala was so good!

Slide 4 - 5 MAR - Restarted my fitness journey and was going well until…

My baby also had his first real sports day and WON his race! 🥇

Slide 6 APR - Planned a mini surprise dinner and celebrated Tophs

Slide 7 - 8 MAY - The ball officially started rolling for my first MAJOR solo project as a PR professional. This was also the month I was asked to leave my 9-5 (this is still so…🫢😂) God was beginning to show me that I could truly do hard things. That termination sent out a signal in the atmosphere. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing since. #Blessed #Sealed

Slide 9 - 11 JUNE - Birthday Birthday!!! God polished the pearl and pushed me into a GROUNDBREAKING season.

Slide 12 - 13 JULY - Started working with an AMAZING team 💞✨ Still learning and growing - worked on my first official PAGE 2 (big deal) lol

Slide 14 AUGUST - WOW

Slide 15 - Not yet released to talk about 4th quarter but GOD IS GOOD.

Cheers to an amazing year, a MARKED year, a year of being HELD by God! ✨

2026 serves as a bridge for me and I will definitely be sharing more as God leads ❤️.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! May you live your year surrendered, submitted, and led by God.

When a national crisis strikes, whether it’s a nat When a national crisis strikes, whether it’s a natural disaster, political unrest, or social tragedy, people look to public voices and brands for empathy, leadership, and responsible communication. Unfortunately, many get it wrong.

Here are the top 5 mistakes I’ve seen (and how to avoid them):

1. Staying Silent Too Long
Silence can be interpreted as indifference. Even a simple “We’re aware of what’s happening and our thoughts are with those affected” goes a long way.

2. Posting “Business as Usual” Content
Scheduling posts without adjusting to the tone of the moment can come off as tone-deaf. Always pause your content calendar and reassess what’s appropriate.

3. Making It About Themselves
“This hits close to home because…” is fine but centering the narrative around your own experience instead of the people impacted can seem self-serving. Focus outward.

4. Rushing a Statement Without Sensitivity
Quick responses that lack accuracy or empathy can cause more harm than good. Take time to get your facts right, consult your team, and ensure your tone is human, not corporate.

5. Failing to Back Words with Action
Solidarity posts are easy. But audiences remember who showed up, whether through donations, volunteering, or amplifying credible information.

Pro Tip:
In a crisis, people remember how you made them feel. Lead with empathy, pause to listen, and communicate with intention.
