How to move forward in a crisis

December 8, 2020December 8, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

A crisis hit and many plans, dreams and aspirations got thrown out the window. Many are finding it very hard to regulate their attention at work and in their personal spaces. Why? Our mind’s natural tendency is to get distracted. As the mind wanders, research has shown that it easily gets trapped into patterns and… Continue reading How to move forward in a crisis

In His presence there is fullness of joy

December 7, 2020December 6, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

Scripture: "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalm 16:11 Reflection: Like the prodigal son who wandered, in hopes of finding life and joy away from home. O, how he was graciously led back home—into the presence… Continue reading In His presence there is fullness of joy

Jesus will be in your boat during the storm

December 4, 2020December 3, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

"On that day, when evening had come, he told them, “Let’s cross over to the other side of the sea.”  So they left the crowd and took him along since he was in the boat. And other boats were with him. A great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that… Continue reading Jesus will be in your boat during the storm

Beloved, why do you worry?

December 3, 2020December 3, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

“Therefore I tell you:   Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your… Continue reading Beloved, why do you worry?

Let go of the past

December 2, 2020December 2, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

Have you ever heard the saying, "you can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one"? I find that there are many who want to go forward with their lives, but they keep holding onto all the past mistakes, loves, unfinished business, regrets, and maybe even things they should… Continue reading Let go of the past

Last Monday, on a whim, at 9:15 pm, I sent Betty-A Last Monday, on a whim, at 9:15 pm, I sent Betty-Ann a message. It read, “Betty mi want a black tulle skirt”, with no prior greeting. LOL. That’s me in a nutshell. My brain sometimes moves at the speed of light, and in order to keep up, I have to get things written down or communicated right away. But that’s us. She gets me. Don’t try that. But as if one week wasn’t short notice enough, I took a day and a half to send my post-baby waist measurement. By Sunday, I was on my way to Clarendon to pick up my latest Redz Divine Wear creation sewn with so much love. If you know, you know.

I remember saying to her, “My life finally feels like it’s back.” I mean, we’re creating fun clothes again, and I have the capacity to think about what I want to wear and get it done. If you know me and you’ve been here a while, then you know those little things are important to me. And after pouring into my lil one for the past (almost) 4 years, that was a special return detail for me.

Thanks, Betty!!! @redz_divine_wear

So, on Tuesday, we officially launched this year’s staging of Come Alive - A National Call to Worship! You asked, God spoke, and we listened. Thanks to everyone who came out in support. To God be the Glory!

TRIGGER WARNING: Miscarriage In May 2021, God whi TRIGGER WARNING: Miscarriage

In May 2021, God whispered, “Your story is changing,” after experiencing early pregnancy loss. That October, the disappointment continued with job loss due to the impact of COVID-19. By May 2022, I was pregnant again. Now, in May 2026, I can say, “Yes indeed!”

Giving birth to my son awakened such a drive within me. Every dormant dream, vision, and hope came to life. I no longer had doubts or any limiting self-beliefs. Disappointment and loss became markers of transition for me. My faith and audacity increased, and I just knew that I could do ANYTHING. Not only that, I just knew God had my back. I stopped questioning moments and stopped saying no to opportunities. The world became so much bigger. Motherhood does that to you. Once you adjust to welcome the life you want, the world opens up to accommodate you.

GO FOR IT! DREAM BIG! WORK HARD!

Sidenote: The thing about favour is it isn’t fair, and we don’t get to dictate who gets it or who benefits from it. I was busy minding my business, ready to watch all the shenanigans unfold like the rest of the world. However, God said If ah egg Amoy muss ina the red and I love that for me LOL. Also, if you walk in obedience and stay in position, magical things happen.

This Mother’s Day I’m telling new, young moms to d This Mother’s Day I’m telling new, young moms to dream big. The sky is truly the limit and there’s nothing in this world you cannot do…even with a child. I know things are different now and the adjustment is hard. You may not have all the money or support in the world but never stop dreaming and never lose hope. A little strategy goes a long way.

🎉Go get that second degree.
🎉Buy the house.
🎉Take the trip.
🎉Start the business.
🎉Get that promotion.

Whatever you can envision, you can achieve. GO FOR IT! ✨
