Meditation: Absolute Futility

August 10, 2020August 9, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

I get what the writer said in Ecclesiastes 1:2, "Absolute futility!"  The things of this world are futile when God's not included! Whether it is work or pleasure; wisdom or wealth; power or prestige; entertainment or virility; life or death—all… Continue reading Meditation: Absolute Futility

Set Apart: Nothing wrong with it!

August 7, 2020August 6, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

I was reading an article the other day and came across a quote that really struck me. This is what it said: “There is no point to a life in Christ if we lose the one thing that makes us different from the world. God wants you to display a life that shows how wonderful salvation… Continue reading Set Apart: Nothing wrong with it!

Set Apart: Be An Example

August 6, 2020August 5, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

As God's children, we are set apart to be an example to those around us. Yup!… Continue reading Set Apart: Be An Example

Set Apart: How does it look?

August 5, 2020August 4, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

What does being set apart look like? Does it look like doing what the world does, but with moderation? Does it look like cutting off friends who are non-Christians? Does it look like not drinking alcohol or smoking a cigar? I've come to realise that our understanding of being set apart is subconsciously focused on… Continue reading Set Apart: How does it look?

Set Apart: The definition

August 3, 2020August 2, 2020 Angelisa Plummer

We are called to live lives that are holy and set apart, but what does that even mean? 1 Peter 1:16 says, "Be holy, for I am holy,” and 2 Corinthians 6:17 says, "Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you."… Continue reading Set Apart: The definition

This Bible made me truly realize that the enemy do This Bible made me truly realize that the enemy doesn't want us in the word. This is the second time ordering after the first DELIVERED order vanished into thin air. Amazon even gave a refund - no questions asked. Still kinda weird to me. I would hate to believe that someone stole it but if they did I pray it blesses the person who ends up with it.

But, hey! I call this Bible THE WORD FOR DUMMIES. It's the #shereadstruthbible. It's simplified and practical. Grab it from my Amazon storefront at the link in my bio. The color options are GORGEOUS! 🌸🌺🌹
