Gentle Reminders: Day 3

Keep hope alive, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” Philippians 1:6. God loves you too much to leave His work incomplete. Whether it be that He is in the process of refining you or He is helping you to successfully complete the good works He has laid out for you—whatever He has started He will complete

You have to get to a point where you decide in your heart that you will take God at His word—No questions asked! Decide that you’re not going to fuss or fight. Decide that you’re going to allow the peace of God to flow through you every single day. I know it’s easier said than done, but each day when you rise, make the decision that you will “let the peace of God rule in your heart” Colossians 3:15.

It is a daily moment by moment choice to allow the peace of Christ to rule in your heart. He promised you His peace and it is already yours… and as long as you steadily look to Him and away from yourself, His peace becomes an abiding reality. As you face the rest of this week, keep your mind and heart stayed on God. For IF you are anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication make your requests known to God with a thankful heart – THEN the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Keep your mind and heart stayed on God, and trust that even when nothing is happening, God is working behind the scenes. When things are moving slow, God is working behind the scenes. When you can’t find the money to manage your business, God is working behind the scenes. When you are frustrated because you can’t shake a bad habit you have, God is working behind the scenes. Beloved, God will complete the good work He has started in you, and that’s the truth!
