Gentle Reminders: Day 4

Take a deep breath! You did all you can; you have given of yourself in the best way with all that God has given to you, now rest in His grace.  When you are weak, that’s when God is strong. Read 2 Corinthians 12:10. When you’ve reached your limit, that’s when God is able to show you that He has no limits. Rest in God’s grace. It is more than enough for you! The grace of God is able to break every barrier and pass every goal you set for yourself.

When you are weak, that’s when God is strong.

Hang onto that word! In your weaknesses, you need to remember to call out to God to help you in every way, through every day. Don’t get caught up with life, letting circumstances dictate how you feel; making you upset, worried or stressed out. Don’t forget to turn your attention to God and to His words and rely on His strength.

Jesus’ undeserved favour is complete and adequate enough for you. His authority over all shines faultlessly in your flaws and feebleness. His unmatched control over the entire universe adjoins with your lowly self and supplies a lifeline to cling to, a safety net to relax in. Because of your weakness, God can vividly display His divine power.

Keep reaching toward the day where you will be all God fashioned you to be, but when you falter, you don’t have to live with condemnation and beat yourself up until you are depressed and feel like an utter failure. Romans 8:1 says, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Rest in the truth of this verse.  I pray that when you read this verse the knots you may feel in your stomach may unravel and that you may instantly feel a sense of peace take over your being. Receive, rely on and then rest in God’s grace so your life can be totally changed.

What trial or limitation do you need to surrender to Jesus? Claim His power in your weakness and walk forward knowing He’s resting His grace and mercy on you.
