Gentle Reminders: Day 5

Heaven and earth will pass away, but every single word that proceeded from the mouth of God from the day you were born to now, will remain and come to pass. All the promises that he made concerning you are yes and amen. Be reminded that God is faithful in all His ways. Though you may experience delays, they will come through at the right time. You may feel ready now, and the wait may feel overwhelming but have a little patience. Trust that God knows what He is doing. If he delays a thing, it’s for a very good reason.

Beloved, be reminded that God is a Father that gives good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11). If all the conditions surrounding the blessings He has for you are not perfectly aligned, then know that He is going to wait until they are. You may be in a hurry, but God isn’t. Remember to slow down and don’t run ahead of God. He knows what He is doing, and He does it perfectly!

It’s hard to not get anxious, overwhelmed and frustrated when you’re not seeing things happen for you, but if God says to trust Him, then do that. You’re close to thirty and still not married, trust God. You’re close to 30 and still living in your parents’ house, trust God. You’ve been waiting on money to purchase a car, trust God. You have a loan to cover but cannot find the money, trust God. Trust God with every single word that He has spoken to you. Trust Him with every circumstance. If God said it, then believe that He will fulfil it! He is faithful!

There’s so much we don’t know about how our lives are going to turn out, but God does know, and He can guide us forward on our journeys if we have faith and trust in Him. Blessed is the man whose trust is in God, whose confidence is in Him (Jeremiah 17:7).

The Lord  bless you and keep you;  the Lord  make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;  the Lord  lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace, AMEN.
