I remember this morning the Lord asked me this:
If you text a particular friend the words “A man is in my house, call the police now…” how would he/she respond? I thought about it. I analyzed the characteristics of that friend and the analyzed the situation.
My conclusion was that not an ounce of urgency would have been given to the situation. Why? Because many of us have a habit of questioning things. Something is as clear as day but we still have to ask questions for “clarity”. Sadly, God speaks and we question. We have to analyze and have all the “facts” and be “sure” before we do what God bids us to do.
URGENT
There will be some URGENT situations in your walk with God. God will speak and you will have to act! You will not have time to question or analyze anything. You will have to rely on your ability to hear God’s voice, trust God, and trust your faith. In my opinion, as Christians, we search for the facts and clear signs too much when God is right in front of us saying GO!
Christians have lost valuable time trying to figure out if the picture on the wall of an apple is really an apple. We would have long been in our “purpose” or would have long gotten our breakthrough if only we were a little more deliberate and decisive.
When God says GO he means GO. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. God is not a God of mistakes and many of us have far passed the spoon feeding stage.
As I write this I hear God saying in my spirit that YOU or someone reading this have been stuck in phase 3 of their life for too long. And all it takes to get to stage 4 is a deliberate act. What has God told you to do that you aren’t doing?
It’s up to you. It’s time to #Elevate
