You can do all things God has called you to!

You can make it! You can win! You can get to where you need to be! You just need to push! Push past your fears and anxieties. Push past what naysayers have to say. Push past your self-doubt. Push past all of those things and believe that the Lord is able to strengthen you.

Let Philippians 4:13 be your affirmation. Let it be your centre—where you live from as you approach the new year. It says, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” God longs to strengthen you. You were never meant to go through this life alone, living in your own strength. The God who formed the mountains filled the seas, breathed life into dust, and sustains every living creature longs to strengthen you for whatever lies ahead.

Do you believe that God is able to strengthen you? He really can! He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever (Ephesians 3:20-21).

The Holy Spirit, the power of God for all the earth, dwells within you. All that He did in the days of old, He can do again. Just as he empowered the Apostles for the advance of the gospel through trial and tribulation, He will empower you. Just as he spoke to the Apostles, telling them where they should go and what they should do, He longs to lead you. Do you believe that?

You can do all that God has called you to. And all that you need to do these things are available to you. Whether it be victory over sin, engaging in difficult confession, working biblically rather than according to the world, seeking unity and fellowship with those that bother you, or simply seeking God with all your heart, the Holy Spirit will strengthen you today if you are willing to receive. Are you willing to receive the strength you so desperately need? Surrender your heart to Him, and confess your inability to do what you’re called to do.

Your confession: Lord, I am weak and poor. I am unable to do that which you have called me to do. Your grace is what I need; It is enough for me. Please help me, God. Put your power on display, right here in this weakness of mine.
